Over the last while, I had the chance to be deeply involved in the A.D.E. program. Most of my time was spent in the middle of the shop helping over 60 students learn CAD, troubleshoot design problems, and push projects from rough concepts into manufacturable parts.

Mentorship in the Design Process
Teaching CAD was never just pointing at a screen. I worked side-by-side with peers through the real headaches of engineering design, from part constraints and fit issues to redesign decisions when a first concept did not hold up.
Shop + Machine Operations
On the hands-on side, I assembled and ran CNC mills and took over management of our 3D printer fleet. Keeping machines running 24/7 meant constant cleaning, clearing jams, and managing filament so students could rely on overnight prints being done by morning.
Process + Safety Systems
I built and rolled out a new organization system for hardware and tools so everything had a logical home. I worked with instructors to maintain process consistency and keep the space safe and efficient for both students and staff.
Campus Support + Outreach
Outside day-to-day shop work, I became a go-to fix-it person for odd technical needs across campus. I also represented the program with district officials, led tours for prospective students, and shared our work with the local community.
Impact
The goal was always to help make the program a place where anyone could show up with an idea and actually have the support, tools, and structure to make it real.
